Some People Are So In Love With Themselves!

Yep, I said it!
Some people are so in love with themselves. They have mad themselves an idol, they are so full of themselves to where there is no room for God to flow. They can't see the greater things of God, because they are concern with just them. They have made themselves an idol some are so worried about being "happy".
What if God were to crack the sky right now; some people will say "Oh Lord, don't come right now I need a little more time, because I never been married and I've never traveled across the world". Some if not most people are in love with the things of this world. I love you and have a bless day!

It not a bad thing to love oneself but I think its bad when one take it to the extreme - making themselves Idols for others to worship. Nice post with a deep message. Thanks for sharing.

Is it only people, who are like this?
Love is not in love with itself, or is it? Is God in love with himself?
What does it mean to be in love with oneself?
This means that instead of loving the love in yourself, you love the person that you think that you are, in other words, you are exhibiting pride.
Love is not proud.
Love is humble in its loving, because it gives itself without wanting a reward or any praise for it being itself, love.
The person in love with themselves falsely thinks that the love in them is them, when it is God in them, not themselves, as nobody can love like God loves, unless God is loving through them as them.
As you so pertinently said, we need to give room for God to flow in us, together with his love.

That's called pride when one puts themselves and their will above God's will, and it is a sin. Proverbs says pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. That's because God is faithful to save us from ourselves.He will let us fall from pride rather than let us fall from grace.
