Harris County (Texas) Constable Mark Herman had the pleasure to share on Facebook the great deed that Deputy Corie Buchanan did to assist a mom who was taking her child for a walk in a park in the county. What Officer Buchanan did was an act of kindness out of her own heart when she noticed that the mom wanted to jog with her child inside the stroller. The catch was that the child started to cry since the child must have felt uncomfortable being inside a stroller while his mom was pushing the stroller at a higher than normal speed which is understandable that the child must have felt fear,' Officer Buchanan who was in the area on patrol decided to make an offer to the mom by asking her to let her watch her child so that the mom could have a short run in the park before she would return back to be with her child. The story was shared on Facebook which gained a lot of likes on the social media page. To put it mildly, the image of the Harris County police officers did improve a lot thanks to the actions of a police officer doing her part to assist a mom get her jog in the park while she watched over the child riding inside the stroller. It may be a big deal in terms of being a newsworthy story nationwide. However the police worldwide like to have their good deeds recorded on the social media pages to boost their self esteem.

Big like to the cop. The cop had already responsibility doing the job. Taking car of the baby while the mom was running, could have problems. For example, what if the cop would need to leave for an emergency ? So, big respect to the cop.

@Deepizzaguy yes, and sometimes, they are not very nice or fair. They have pressure from their work.

That is true since police officers are on call at all times when they are on the clock.

That was a very nice gesture. It's a good thing the officer didn't get a call while the woman was out jogging!

That is true that Officer Buchanan did not have to answer an emergency call during the time she had to take care of the child who was in the stroller.

Officer Buchanan did a wonderful job assisting the mom at the park on Friday which is one good reason to support the good police officers.

That's nice of the constable. May the child was getting bounced around too much when the mother was running.

That is probably the case since I knew if I were riding inside a stroller at high speed, I would also raise a fuss.
