My respects and amazement go to 17 year old Bay Area resident Tanvi Barman who started a program called "No Birthday Left Behind" since she was in the eight grade.
Barman received the idea to have birthday parties at homeless shelters for homeless children since she and her parents volunteered to work in a shelter which inspired her to pursue her passions of giving back to her community since she feels blessed to have been raised by loving parents who support her work by having birthday parties at homeless shelters during her spare time.
Tanvi has the assistance of several vendors in the Bay Area who work with her by assisting her supplies for birthday parties.
I like the spirit of giving back to the needy by this teenager who has a heart of gold.

I agree with you since the media likes to report the evil acts of teens these days in the national evening news.

That is very cool. She is very special and her parents taught her right. I love reading stories like these. We have kids that also give up their gifts for their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs to those that either lost things or do not have money to buy anything. We have had kids outside of Israel donate to the children in the South because they do not have a normal life with missiles flying at them all the time.

@Hannihar Tanvi's parents did a wonderful job teaching her how to be a person that cares for the less fortunate.

It is very special and shows that the parents did a good job of raising the child.

It is a very kind deed that Tanvi is doing to brighten the smiles of homeless children in the Bay Area.
