This is a short story I wrote featuring several of my favorite themes, art,Love, and sci-fi/fantasy.I once shared a version on a now deleted blog...enjoy. Once upon a time, a struggling sculptor named Alessandro Belan was working late in his studio on his best/favorite sculpture. He fell asleep on the floor of his sculpting studio, and awoke a few hours later to the sound of someone moving around. He thought someone had broken in,but he'd soon find that wasn't the case after all. A woman was standing over him, and he quickly realized he recognized her. "I have to still be dreaming", he thought. The woman was his sculpture, come to life. "How can this be"? He asked. The woman replied "Your love & dedication made it so"

Interesting story and theme. His intense feelings made the sculpture come alive.

I don't think he was awake. He was probably still sleeping and dreaming.
