Years ago, I heard the song "For My Wedding" by Don Henley.
It's one of the best songs lyrically that I have ever heard.
One of my absolute favorite lines is,
"All my dark angels, we must part, for I have made a sanctuary of my heart"
It's brilliant poetry.
It's been said that although Don has many music influences, he has a very great appreciation for country music.
That definitely shines through/is readily apparent in "For My Wedding".

This was the only song at my wedding! I wore a beautiful black dress. It was especially meaningful as he was struggling to leave behind his experiences from combat as we started our life together. I listened again and cried happy tears.
