In the meadow at the bottom of our garden we often see foxes, owls and herons as well as the inevitable cat or two and, very occasionally if we happen to be looking out of one of the back windows we get to see the odd Muntjac deer.
A couple of weeks ago when Adam, my partner, happened to be looking out of the back bedroom window he spotted this little chap (or chapess!). He quickly grabbed his camera and managed to get a picture. Sadly he didn't zoom in on it as he wanted to get a picture before the deer bounced off into the undergrowth just to the left. However, just in case you couldn't spot it, I've put a ring round it!

Hopefully we'll get them in the meadow during the winter - much easier to see when it's frosty or snowy.

@olliesmum I think they're regarded as a pest, aren't they? Some escaped from a Duke's private zoo I think and they've bred up from there.

@JudyEv Yes, they're considered pests but I love 'em! But then I love anything that's furry!!

As it happens the farmer who owns the meadow had recently cut the grass to make hay for his cattle so the muntjac couldn't have picked a better time for visiting!
