Productive morning

How is everyone’s Monday coming along? NormallyMonday is my day off and day to get things done, but silly me signed up for 10 hours of overtime, starting at 4pm this afternoon.
I have been housebound all day while I dog-sit my sisters friends dog. He is a bit of a handful, much more energetic than my sisters dog. But even with him here,I’ve done my hour on the treadmill, Baked some sweet potatoes and made a sweet potato salad, in the process of doing laundry and dishes. The last plan before heading off to work is trying out my new curling iron. I haven’t curled my hair in eons (years, probably) so i am curious to know if I still got it.
I received my “new” phone (an upgrade for me, an iPhone 6S) in the mail so I hope to find time to get all my apps downloaded and pictures/contacts transferred over.

@maezee I home canned a batch of black beans to have them when I want them. I will try this, I like different.

I used to have my monday to be the busiest day of the week. After almost forty years of working, I am doing a change. I planned and try to keep to it to have monday as an off day. Possible? Yes, of course. It is entirely up to each one of us to decide our life by ourself and not let the world system dictate so.
