Franclyn, Budding Writer?

I got a long casual conversation with Franclyn who showed her draft about her write-up on love. I wanted to help. I gave her my advice on the said writing. Franclyn is a potential writer. She has the skill in writing. She could express herself in a logical manner. She needs to practice writing to improve it. I advise her to read books on writing, articles of good writer to develop her writing skill. She is also advised to share her writings to her friends for critic or have them published in their school paper. I point out that she needs to discipline herself. It is very sad to know as it is learned later that she has an incomplete grade in all her major subjects. Something has gone wrong as what she has written as what I have noticed earlier. Franclyn has still a chance to improve her studies if she is going to discipline herself, giving priority to her studies for she's not regular or even not attending her classes, giving time for play, for love, and for everything, or else everything will yield to naught. If all these things are done in order, Franclyn will survive and overcome these trials in her life and she will come off conqueror and successful. Franclyn, it is not yet too late. I know you could make it. Mend everything that has gone awry. Don't let your irrational emotion overrule you, or else you will regret later.

as you are experience person, its good that you taking care and helping her to the right way in skill which she has. if she focuses on writing skills and other articles then definitely it helped a lot to her and as teacher like you\, she will definitely become a good writer.

I have always let my emotion rule my head--people follow different paths and some wind up winners while others don't! Always keep in mind some of the biggest selling books didn't go by the 'rules'--perfect example is "On The Road" !

That is a pity that she ignores so much of her subjects. I hope she can recover from that bad grades.

That's an interesting point about emotions being irrational. Are all of our emotions irrational, do they, or can they, also connect to the rational, or do they function differently/independently, with no rationality or irrationality attached to them, if we live from them truely/purely? Our heart is not formed with emotion, but with love. Our mind, working with the heart, is always rational or consciously aware, but when the chemicals of our body boil up other emotions in us for the sole use of our body, in various situations, this should not be linked into by our mind or by our heart, but simply be felt, let go of, and then we should just rationally go on with the improved insight that deep emotional experiences can dip us into, for a moment.
