A non profit tried to get me to fill out a voter registration form

I got a letter from Raleigh (the state capital) today. I forget the name of the company, something about voting. The letter said something like : Dear Ms. Marilyn Monroe (it said my actual name), Our database shows that while you reside in Forsyth County, you are not registered to vote. Please fill out the attached form and return it. I read further and realized this was a non profit organization. It seemed rather shady, especially as I am registered to vote. My voter registration card is on the fridge. If I was going to re-register I'd just go to the DMV. Anyway, while this might be a legit company, it's a third party and I'm not going to give my info to a third party. As it was, they already had my name and address. Have you gotten anything phishy in the mail lately?
