My keurig all of a sudden decided to not work when I was trying to clean the filter. So when my husband came down I told him I was changing out the filter and running water through it like your suppose to when you change out the filter. So now he is taking a looking at and he thinks he finger it out. My sensor clip was dirty and it need to be removed and cleaned off. Yay it’s fixed!

I'm glad that it was a simple fix. I used to have a Keurig but it was never used. I have an electric tea kettle that gets a lot more use.

That’s good! I’m not a tea drinker never really liked tea. Coffee I can do, mine gets a lot of use. In the winter the kids use it for hot chocolate and apple cider.

@ScribbledAdNauseum no we buy a box of the k cups for them some times I get the packs of hot chocolate and make it with milk instead of water. Honestly I get the Nestle Quick chocolate milk powder and put milk it and heat it in the microwave and tell the kids it’s hot chocolate. Haha they don’t know it’s not hot coco and they don’t care. That big container is worth it because it last a good few months before I have to get more.

@ShyBear88 Do they use the packets of Apple Cider that you can find in the hot cocoa aisle? I was not a big fan of those myself. I use the electric tea kettle to boil water for Instant Coffee as well. I'm sure I've used it for the purpose of hot cocoa too, but I like milk more than water in my cocoa.

Glad your hubby was able to fix that Keurig. I can't imagine needing coffee and the machine not working

Good thing is I had one cup before it started to do this. I tried figuring it out in my one. I took the filter back out but it back in. Cleaned the needle. Check to see if there was grounds stuckZ of course I can see on the sensors where they are positioned but my husband was able to pull out the clip and clean it off, then he had to rub another one that can’t come out clean.

That is good it is fixed. I gave my Keurig up as it was not practical for me. I drink coffee in multiples..plus I didn't like those expensive K cups, and it was messy to make it in the little filter thing they gave you.

I don’t sue K cups, I have clip in my which trips the sensor to think I do saves you money. So I just fill my reusable cup out grounds in. Shut it out in the keurig and go. Done. I don’t spend that much I got a big bag of filers likes 20 for like $5 2 years ago and been changing the filter as need. I have 2.0 which is very easy to use. It’s easier then my moms which has a small water tank. It can make a whole pot if I got one. I’m the only one that drinks coffee so I have a single user and some time the kids want hot chocolate is I use that to make it or the microwave.

What is the sensor clip? A dirty sensor clip might have been my problem.
