I actually played this song for my wife on the night she asked me to marry her (long story).
The harmonica alone is worth a listen.
This is the original although I love any version of this song.

happy to help this song, along with the Rolling Stones Satisfaction, was played 2, 3 times a day on Armed Forces Radio Saigon in 1972.
Living in Thailand, that was the only English speaking station we got!!!

@DocAndersen My brother, (two tours in Viet Nam) told me about Armed Forces Radio. I joined the Air Force in 73, just in time for Nixon to kill the draft. (My 12th day of basic -- you know the TI's had a good time with that.)
