what does the lynx say?

i never really thought about it until i visited my grandpa and cousins. they live kinda in the forest and of course that they sometimes see foxes and wolves. my cousin said that their dog keeps barking at something at night that doesn't sound familiar, but not too far from that part of the forest, live lynxes. so she searched for the sound they make and she said "that's it". now i can't stop thinking about it because i would never say that that's what te lynx say. also i would like to see this animal because it's so pretty, but i've heard that they don't like to be seen by people. i also feel sorry because people kill them. if you want to hear the sound of lynx, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaXmIPHrHmY
