Pecan Waffles and Banana So Good

Catching up on the laundry and other things inside today. Had one of my favorite breakfasts / brunches earlier. It was close to 11:am when I ate today. Had my coffee in the screen room with the cats.
Pecan waffles with a banana. Added a little syrup as well. So good. The pecans add such a good flavor. Some days I add peanut butter but skipped on it today.
After two very busy days, I will try to get caught up at home today.

That looks so delicious. I bought a peanut butter protein pancake mix (the company that has the black and brown box, the name of the company escapes me at the moment) but noone else seems to like them. I havent' made anymore of it since. I might do so soon though, just for myself.
Have you ever made pancakes or waffles out of banana? Those are so yummy.

@CarolDM I made them once when I wasn't feeling well and wanted some comfort food. Woke up very early that morning and couldn't get back to sleep. I made the pancakes, ate them, cleaned up and found sleep right after.
Peanut Butter would be lovely ontop of a banana pancake or waffle.

@moffittjc I do eat a lot of waffles. When the weather is hot, like it has been for moths now, I lose my appetite. So I just eat whatever. Hopefully it will change with the weather.

I am not a fan of waffles at all but this looks really delicious! My son eats his with butter, cinnamon sugar and syrup. My daughter eats her with peanut butter on them and I just don't eat them at all. I have strawberry butter I made though and don't want to use up all the bread in the house before I can get out to buy any so maybe for lunch tomorrow I will make pancakes or waffles then use that.

@CarolDM sometimes i've a tad bit 'f envy fer ya folks that can do such wizardry, lol. fer myself, i'd need to make a batch 'n freeze some. i've a waffle iron fer open fires - cast iron 'n weighs a ton. jest can't wield such these days.
i've fingers crossed fer ya, hon. still parched here, too.

@crazyhorseladycx That is why I buy the frozen ones to have most of the time, just use my toaster.

Looks yummy! No plans. The shingles have been delivered; and they are starting to put them on the house. Yesterday they worked on taking all the old shingles off (tear-off).
