Not too much to report. The shingles came before noon; so the roofers were able to start putting them up today.
My husband has a torpedo heater running in the basement to dry it out. He discovered that two of the three special flashlights that he had down in the basement were stolen as well.
He has an appointment with another contract hauler tomorrow. Then we will make a decision as to which company will empty out the house. 1-800-GOTJUNK charges $600 per truckload (and there are 3 truckloads); so they are a little more expensive than the one quote we have so far.
That's about all for now.

The guy I used before is going to charge $100 for the treadmill, recliner, wheelchair and pole lamp.

@porwest No one wants a treadmill since it would have to be taken apart to get through the door, the wheelchair is broken and so is the recliner. The pole lamp needs to be rewired.
