I bought a new prepaid phone today and there's a few things i don't like

I had a Motorola and the main problem with it when it worked well is that your can't access the photos on your phone to use on your computer by using a usb cord and looking through the gallery that way. The only way to access pics is to save them individually from the Google photo album to the computer. Or may be that's more common now with most users uploading and storing on a cloud server rather than on their computer. Last week my phone was having issues. One of the sales gals at a Verizon store helped me get it working again but this week it started acting up once more. Rather than have it go caput without warning I decided to get a different phone. I've been considering a Samsung and got one for just under two hundred dollars. It happens to be the same size as my Motorola so I won't need a new case and I have a screen saver that should fit if I can remember where I hid it. The phone itself is fine but I can't find the exact photo editor I've been using and one of my games hasn't yet synced with my account so those I've been playing with will wonder what happened to me.

It’s tough getting used to a new phone. Perhaps the store can help you.

Is a prepaid phone, so I doubt it. Is not the phone itself that I'm having difficulties with but more with some odd the apps that I was hoping to find for the newer phone. It seems my favorites are no longer available. It doesn't help either that the manufacturer isn't easily figured out to look at a url if necessary.

@DianneN mine is a smartphone too. I pay upfront for the phone and then my monthly fee is under fifty bucks.

There will always be bugs to work through with a new phone.

Or could end up that I just need to learn new apps and figure out which work best for me or which are the most similar to what I've used in the past.

@just4him I did see an app for pic monkey which I used years ago on my computer. I'd be a bit familiar with that maybe. But I may try a few others first.

@MarshaMusselman , they stop performing while taking some pictures or while searching something etc. This abrupt stopping is known as hanging!

@AKRao24 mine never did that. Over all it was fine. Just recently it began having a black screen with other ailments. It may be a fault of mine because I put a flashlight app on the phone and unbeknownst to me it had one in board. It seems that's what messed it up possibly.

It is a pain to get your phone back to just how you like it. You will manage to do it one day!

I doubt I'll get all the apps back that I've learned to like. It must be hard to update them constantly to work with all the different phones in the market. Since two completely different types is apps are no longer available. I had a great photo editor where I could watermark my photos with a copyright along with cropping and collages. The index or the theses data have cropping but toy puck an image size. I may have to do multiple tests to see if the sizes I pick work here and other sites I upload to. Maybe I'll try one here to see. If it works it will be of a pizza casserole I made this week with cauliflower. Well that one worked. So now I'll need to look and see what size I made that in to use that in the future.

Samsung is said to be a very high quality brand.

That's what I thought too. The brand seems fine and the Motorola was a good brand to. It seems like a light are referring to cloud storage rather than in one's computer.

Speaking of Motorola, I’ve always wanted to have their flip phone. So cute! I hope you get to set your new phone up just the way you like it.

My phone will only transfer using the original USB cord it came with. My daughter broke that about 6 months ago That would be awesome if the case does fit! That app might not be available with that phone. When I went from an Android to an iPhone almost all the apps I used to work didn't work. I hope you enjoy your new phone once you get used to it. My daughters new iPhone should be arriving soon!
