Some of you have probably seen on the news or read about many people now owning an official emotional support animal. I am not saying they do not need the animals. I do not know their situations. But when I saw the miniature horse on the airplane, I started thinking, wait a minute.
Then, this morning, as I was busy in another room, the Dude couldn't find me. He was yowling for like five minutes, until he finally found me. I started thinking, maybe the Dude could be my ESA. He does bring me comfort. I am just sayin'.
I wondered how you go about registering your animal as an ESA (emotional support animal). Yes, there is a website that explains the process.
Click on this link below if you are curious about this process.

Like everything else the system has been abused, I have animals, but they aren’t marked as ESA, and I have been on a waiting list for years for a Canine Companion due to my physical disabilities, these animals are trained for a long time, and I’d have to go through training as well, but if you truly need one the benefits are amazing as are the ESA animals, but like I said like so many things they are abused!

I think all pets bring emotional support since i believe they understand how you feel and make you company. STILL I also understant that there are more trained and certified pets that can do extra tasks to give emotional support to humans and that's very interesting

I think you are the one that needs registered as his support animal
But I had looked before and in Ohio at least it is not very hard to do.

I believe that animals can give emotional support but I wonder how some animals (horses, snakes, etc) can be qualified especially if someone is traveling with one.

I'd love to have an ESA!!! or two or three. I miss my dogs! You're probably the Dude's ESH (emotional support human). :-)

I think they need to set guidelines and stick with them. Sometimes, it is okay to say "NO!" I mean why should your pet, Freddy the 12 foot Python, be allowed to upset other passengers? No, he cannot give me a hug, I do not care how nice and loving he is.
