As some of you know, the robbers who came into my house 2 years ago stole my piggy Bank collection. I had brought them from ny vacations and they all had a small amount of coins. The dumb robbers must have thought that I had gold coins because they took them all
In this trip, I saw a lot of animals made of papier maché for sale at the airport. None of them was a piggy Bank, but they gave me an idea.
Daniel has been making masks part of this year. He is studying theatre and they are were teaching him about the Italian commedia dell´ arte. He learned to make masks for it. I think that they were papier maché or similar. I could learn again how to make the paste (I I used to, decades ago) and I could make and paint a Bank. I would not make a pig. I´ll think up something else. I love a colored skull that Claudia bought for me in Mexico.

What a great idea, I love it! We made up a paste and used strips of paper, to make hats one time. We let them dry on the forms, for a week. Then we painted and decorated them:)

I'm so sorry you lost your collection of banks. Making your own bank sounds like fun.
