'twas a beautiful evenin'

Seriously, who couldn't be mesmerized by such a painted sky? I'd watched's such gained color 's dusk 'pproached. From azure blue skies with light white clouds, to delicate pinks. Which quickly turned hot pink 's the blue faded. Clouds darkened to'n eerie charcoal grey, jest streaks 'f brilliant white dashin' cross the sky. Then, jest's one though the magic 'd ended - this! Fiery orange burst 'pon the horizon. Most gorgeous sight to behold. Should'a known such meant trouble. 'tis been pourin' rain since 'bout 6:30 this morn. Purty certain we've 'lready surpassed the predicted 1-2" 'f 'additional rainfall. The temp? 'tis currently 55 degrees - though the "feels like" temp 'tis 42. Yup, I'd the need to turn the heater'n. Cursin' the hubs fer yet 'gain pretendin' such'd ne'er occur, thus's not cleaned the flue nor purchased wood fer the burner.... Our 'verage rainfall fer these parts 'tis 'bout 16". The joke bein' that we ne'er know what day such'll fall. I think we've the need to respect Mother Nature a bit more, coz gettin' half yer annual'n less'n 4 days jest aint purty. Not complainin' bout the rains thus far this week. 'twas most needed, 'nless ya ask the horses, they're none too thrilled. Can't say I'm very happy 'bout the cold though. Would sure like to make a deal with parts 'f the country who're toppin' the 90's still, with nary a raindrop'n sight.

We still had a few raindrops today. It's cool out there. I haven't watched the forecast, so I don't know what the rest of the day will be but hope it will be dry. It's supposed to be dry tomorrow. I did see the sun and a patch of blue skies for a very short moment before it turned all gray again and spritzed my windshield when I left the ADRC. It's also windy here. I'm ready for the colder weather, but my body wants to ease into it. Yes, I agree. We need to be nice to Mother Nature so she'll be nice to us.

our 'feels like' ne'er got 'bout 42. cold rain 'lmost all day, still doin' 't. wind 'bout 20mph. quite miserable outdoors. the horses're none too happy, bless 'em. i hope ya dry out 's predicted, hon. seems they've gotten our weather wrong here most 'f the week thus far. sayin' though that such should be out'ta here by friday eve. i dunno why so many're hard-headed 'bout 't? how they cannot see how mankinds ways've caused so much destruction - such 'tis 'nly gonna get worse i fear.

@crazyhorseladycx Our feels like temp this morning was in the 40s a couple of degrees lower than the actual temp also in the 40s. We got mist and drizzle most of the morning when it was supposed to be dry today.

'twas a great treat to watch such a beauty's 't changed colors so quickly, startin' out the palest 'f pink. no worries, he's still'n denial 'f such need. ya know, coz that huntin' 'tis tirin' work. i doubt he'll tend to such 'fore he leaves 'gain the 12th. my truck's not runnin' well currently, but the eldest son told me he could pick'p some bags, take that flue 'part if'n need be. thank heavens fer that!

Beautiful sunset but yikes on your temperatures. Still in mid 90's here. 95 today. We need to get our wood pellets for heater here too, so you are not alone in that department. However, I won't be needing them for awhile yet. Hope he gets them soon.

@crazyhorseladycx Mine has decided to buy a pallet of wood pellets for the heater this year. So when they had a pre-season truckload sale in August I told him about it. I said go now, get a better price. Did he go? NO, of course not. It hasn't been to bad this week with temperatures sky high. The humidity is down a bit so that makes a big difference.

'nless the weather folks change their minds 'gain, 'tis 'pposed to start clearin' out tomorrow 'fternoon. my poor ponies 're soaked :(
