You Can Spew Out Hate

I have come to the conclusion that right now, my best bet with Amber, the 22 year old, not my friend is to keep my distance, I’ve been through this before but not to this extent with such hate spewed out, but I am not going to let her moods win, keeping the distance is the best for now, as hard as it is, and as much as I miss Paisley, this is the best for now! As I generally do, I express myself in written words the best! You can spew Out hurt With your weak words And half baked Lies Pushing me away At every turn But beyond the hate I will rise. You can try To alienate me Making enemies Where friends once Were But those who Truly know me Are not going to fall For those Lies. You can call me names And play your childish game Spout out words of hate And still I won’t sink so Low! You can try to break me Make me hate you Yell out hurtful things After a lifetime of Being a shoulder to lean On And still I’ll Rise Above the pain And hate! The harder you Push The harder I’ll pray And I’m doing so I will rise… (C) Michelle R Kidwell October.04.2019

I try to stay away from people like this. I can not stand being around people like this. I get depressed real easy.

@Michellekidwell There are a few of my family I stay away from because of their hate toward me and other people.

Beautiful poem! As we know from God's word the war is not with flesh and blood, just keep praying for her and I will too.

I do, believe me, but when she’s like this, I just pray from a distance!

That's a lovely poem. I wish it weren't based on what you are currently going through now though

Poetry is a good way to get out your hurt feelings. Sorry you are dealing with that. I can feel your emotions in your words.
