That's the reason why I never wanted to live in another country even if I had a lot of chances to do so when I was younger, even when our economy started to tank and go sour, personally for me I think it's more fun in the Philippines even though it's not perfect and has a lot of down sides.

We celebrating Christmas here just for Family and closed friends. At Christmas Eve is celebrated in Germany on December 24. It is the last day of Advent and the start of the Christmas season. Many people spend the afternoon and evening decorating Christmas trees, attending church services, eating traditional dishes and opening Christmas presents.

I can relate to that. I lived for 10 years in US and for another 3 years in few other countries. Though these countries were wonderful, I always missed my motherland India. Though life was easy, structured and more comfortable there, I missed my country.

I'm German and I've lived in Germany all my life! I live in the Land Baden-Württemberg in a small town near Stuttgart. May I ask why you've left the Philippines and are living in Germany? Where in Germany do you live?
