Chard: Daniel buys it from the place where they grow it.

Two days ago, Daniel bought (and brought) an incredible amount of chard. I don´t have it at home since Luna is the owner of that part of the garden. We had bought some at the supermarket, a couple of months ago, and it was expensive and just a small bunch. While I slept, Leticia cleaned and boiled it. I will make creamed chard (with cream and grated cheese) and a potato on the side. On another day, I´ll make pancakes (I can put some white sauce over them and cheese and heat them at the oven). And I will save some for a chard soup with some milk and creamed at the blender. All that with the green part. I cooked that white part of the chard and will have a salad with lots of lemon juice, salt and olive oil. Coral ( @TheSojourner ) how am I doing?

It is a veggie. See the picture in the post. Tastes like spinach.

I make creamed chard as well just like I would with spinach leaves.

I do them the same way I do them with spinach. I use either, depending which is less expensive.

It is! There are many dishes you can do with chard. I also make a vegetarian lasagna with chard.

It is all so easy! For a soup, just have some chicken broth (any broth will do) add some cooked chard and half a cup of milk. Place it in a blender with salt and pepper if you like. Delicious. The cream as an entre: you take out as much water from the cooked chard as you can with your hands and cut it up finely. In a skillet, you add cream and a bit of milk if needed (salt and pepper). Turn off the stove and add cooked potatoes on the side. I do the same and fill crepes with that.
