I've saved the best til last.
I couldn't believe how beautiful this was. It was taken to the right of my house from the bottom of the garden - yes I went out in the rain to get it but it's all in the name of art!!!
I just couldn't believe the contrasting colours. After I'd taken the photo I just stood looking at the sky in wonder. I think God must have renewed his paint palette!!

I find that normally by the time I've grabbed my camera the sky's changed completely but I was lucky this little display hung around for a while!

@olliesmum Yes, you do have to be quick sometimes to capture a sunset.

Some people are pointing out that we have had several volcanic eruptions that have reached into the stratosphere, and the result is more colorful sunrises and sunsets around the globe. Several of the volcanic eruptions were in Kamchatka and the Kuril Islands, in the northern part of the northern hemisphere. We have been having colorful sunsets too (when our clouds go away; we have also had a lot of rain this year, unrelated to the eruptions.)

Were you affected by the recent typhoon? We've had some high winds here but nothing too dreadful.
