Off to Thursday Yoga

Today was a beautiful and lovely fall day from morning to evening. The temps were in the 60s and early 70s. Another good day to walk in my flops and no trace of rain in the forecast. Other than laundry, I did dust the living room-dining room area in 1 hour and 35 minutes, due to Wylie distracting me from time to time. Tomorrow I'll do the living room-dining room floor, the foyer, the curio cabinet, and dust my desk once more. As for Upwork, I did get an offer from that proofreading job I applied to last month and heard back from the client last week. But when I received the offer and read the contract, I had to turn it down since the company was from New Zealand, when the client I spoke to was from here in the USA. I prefer to work for clients here and in Canada and not elsewhere. And it looked like an actual job than a freelance job when they mentioned paid leave and vacation time, though the pay was nice too. I never saw a contract like that for freelance work. It made me leery. So I'll wait to hear from more clients and resume looking for work before the end of the year when I reopen my availability window. Now I'm ready to head to yoga and have a nice refreshing workout this evening. I'll be back tomorrow with an update and check notifications during this weekend. See you then!
