Movie review: The Spy

We're watching a limited series called The Spy on Netflix. It's a true story about an Israeli spy in Syria in the 1960's. It's really good; we're almost at the end of the last episode.
It's really suspenseful and well acted...hope you can find it and will enjoy it. Have you seen it?

I just found the movie "The Impossible Spy" on Amazon Prime which I will check out later. I think you said it is a series. So maybe this is a movie based on the same guy. It is about Eli Cohen.

It seems to be the same story, but the Impossible Spy was made in 1987, I think, and The Spy was made in 2019.

That sounds sooooooooooooo familiar. I will look into it. I can never remember what I already saw or whether it was something similar. Sometimes I need to go part way through the movie/ show before realizing I've already seen it!
