Back from the gym

Tonight's session was a strength training workout. This is what we did: 1) Double kettlebell chest press (3 x 8) 2) a. Kettlebell rows (3 x 8L/8R) b. Romanian deadlifts (3 x 8) 3) a. Atomic crunches (3 x 15) b. Double dumbbell bicep curls (3 x 8) c. Cable press downs (3 x 8) I was good with everything except the atomic crunches. I was only able to do 10 of them each time. Still it was a very good, very sweaty session. After that my dad and I went to the back room for Rebound30 which is basically a stretching, breathing, yoga-type of class that lasts just 30 minutes instead of the usual hour. It felt good to just relax, stretch, and let my mind be quiet for awhile. Next session is Strongman Saturday at 8 am!

I think that after a tough workout, that 30 minute stretch class is a wonderful idea! It will help you unwind, from everyday stress.

@NJChicaa Kim use to have what she called a 'cool down.' After our sessions, we'd do some light stretches to relax our muscles.
