My parents brought me this pasta from Trader Joe's last month. Tonight I decided to try it since I wanted pasta. I cooked it like I would cook regular pasta in a pot of salted water. I kept a close eye on it though because I didn't know how long to cook it for (clearly I didn't read the cooking directions). I noticed that there was a very short time period between it being more than al dente and being slightly overcooked. I'm talking like a minute or 2.
So my pasta was a little bit overcooked. That being said I don't think I would have preferred it al dente since I tasted it almost like that and decided to cook it a little further. Still, I had no experience with brown rice/quinoa pasta so I don't know if there is a happy medium between the two.
I had planned to put some tomato sauce on this pasta but I decided not to. I just added a little bit of butter and some grated Parmesan cheese. The flavor definitely is different from traditional wheat pasta but not in a bad way at all. I will definitely eat the other half of the bag that I still have left.
Would I go out of my way to buy it in the future? Probably not. I don't have celiac disease so I don't need gluten-free products. I usually don't eat pasta more than once or twice a month so regular pasta is fine for me. Still, this is a good product that I would recommend to those who can't eat gluten.

I’d prefer actual pasta had something similar and didn’t care for it at all!
