If Things are meant for you

Do you believe that if things are meant for you, you can have it even if you do not work hard for it? Or in contrast, if things are not meant for you, no matter hard you work or fought for it, it will never become yours? Based on some experience, I think there is some truth on this but I also believe that we should not give up on our dreams even how hard the obstacles on its way.

@Dyvette16 I agree on this and in addition give focus. The reason maybe I failed in few attempts because I lost my focus.

Yes, we must do something otherwise we do not see results.

I do understand and somehow believe, we get what is meant for us. But I do believe that working hard is equally important. Certainly if you give up without trying, it's a pure waste. After all, God help those, who help themselves

I agree, this is why I always say to my husband that "we must not force the destiny".

It's true; if you want to have something or achieve it, work for it; but never be frustrated if you can't have it.

I don't know if there is some truth in that. I always believe that if I work hard to get something I want, then I will get it. If I don't, then there is some explainable reason and not just entirely that I was not meant for it.

There maybe no limitations in trying only then some of us give-up after multiple attempts of failure. Thank you.

Yes you can also get what you want by working on it. But what if you tried and failed, you start to have this existential questions.

This is a very good question. My coping mechanism in this lifetime after trying and not getting the desired result is to think that there is a future lifetime where if God/Life wills I can easily have. In the meantime I make do with what I have. Hence the saying "In God's time"

Yes. We must also accept the fact that we can't have everything that we want here and by trying so much, it may lead us to somewhere. A place where praises and happiness are there.

What's meant to be is meant to be. That's the title of one of my songs.

Nope, some things are just not meant to be and you will never have it no matter how hard you work for it. That's just how life is. I would have loved to make a home with my now ex but we were two different worlds and it never would have worked.

@ZedSmart no that won't be possible ever. I wouldnt take him back even if he wanted me. He threatened me with harming people I love and others I didn't he's volatile and I never want to be with someone that can disrespect me so much.
