A pair of sneakers called "Jesus" priced at $3000 sold out in minutes

There is pair of sneakers from the Nike brand called "Jesus" that is filled with holy water. It sells for $3000 a pair. And it is already sold out. Apparently, Nike has nothing to do with this. A company called MSCHF bought the Nike sneakers (Nike Air Max 97’s) and added water from the Jordan River to the soles, along with a crucifix to the laces. I am not sure how many pairs of these were made but MSCHF made a lot of money and quickly. I wonder who bought these "customized" sneakers though. It's insane to spend that much on a pair of sneakers.

Apparently those who bought the sneakers don't think so.

Wonder what gave the company the idea to do this. I was shocked when I read about this and even more shocked it sold out quick.

It's insane to buy Nike. You pay for a brand name and endorsement.

I love Nike sneakers. Actually have a pair. But I'd never buy something like this. That money can be put to much better use.
