Ever Get Your Bio-Rhythms Messed Up?

One of my kids was ill and had to go to the hospital emergency. I was just about to wind down for the night when she called for help. I had to draw my "second wind". My daddy used to say when you were tired and worn out but something happens and you still have to keep going, that's when you need to draw your "second wind". I ended up staying up all night. I went to sleep about 6:30 AM and woke back up 3 hours later because there were other matters that had to be taken care of pertaining to some of my other kids, which meant I needed to be mentally alert. I was so wound up I found it hard to get to sleep. When I finally got to sleep and woke back up, my bio-rhythms were so screwed up it was hard to focus on my online work and get things done. It's been almost 4 days. While I'm waiting for my internal clock to reset, I've been watching Star Trek episodes on Netflix. Engaging in mindless activity until my body and mind are slowly getting back into sync. Don't you hate it when your bio-rhythms get messed up?

I am amazed by that internal clock you are saying. Maybe I have to be aware of that too.

Since I have been working at home, without an alarm clock I have gotten myself into the habit of waking and working hours. As long as that schedule doesn't get messed up, I'm good to go!

I stopped wearing a wristwatch in 1979. Since then I tried learning how to estimate the time.
