Today, my eldest daughter (Daniel“s mother) will come for dinner.
I made a leche flan for dessert (she loves it) and an onion quiche is almost ready.
I have lettuce ready for a salad and will open a can of hearts of palms.
I am sure that she will like it.
I have been thinking about buying a microwave oven, but I want to see first if the old one can be fixed.
I had no problem in returning the water heater that I bought 4 days ago. The lady at the supermarket gave it a look and knew I was right to want to change it. The difference I had to pay for the new one was a minimum and it is much better with a 2 year warranty.

I used bought pastry and only had to make the filling of the quiche. I caramelized lots of onions en julienne, cut up and fried some bacon, beat 2 eggs with 200 liter of cream and put everything together. I poured the mixture over the cooked dough (as I do for some pies) and added some grated cheese on top. To the oven and that was it.

I hope you enjoyed your dinner. Fixing the microwave might be as expensive as buying a new one. Good luck!

I think I will have to see about that. And meanwhile, do without.
