As some of you might know, my brother died recently. After his service, his daughter (my niece) noticed a dragonfly buzzing around her for a long time. She thought it was my brother's way of saying he is alright. Another niece sent me this pin in memory of him. We will all think of him every time we see a dragonfly or wear this little pin. I think it is a lovely way to remember him. Do you have any stories of ways to remember someone who passed?

I appreciate the way you are remembering him! Here I don't have anything like that to remember any one who demised! We beleve in our religion that after the 13th day ritual the departed soul goes to iys heavenly abode and the soul is not seen on the earth!

One of my female Guppies in a birthing tank. Picture is mine.
Oh, that is such a beautiful pin, Jo Ann! What a nice way to remember your brother! Hmmm... let me see if I can post a photo here...

@akalinus That's really odd, Jo Ann... There isn't any reason having something green under what you took a photo of should stop it from posting online. Would you mind emailing me the photo that you couldn't get to post? I'd like to look at it and try to see if I can figure out what caused you to encounter problems posting it. (I'd like the full size photo and whatever size you tried unsuccessfully to post, please. Thank you, Dearheart.) And, would you mind if I took a quick look at your pc programming? I can do it from here and won't bother anything. I just want to make sure everything is running correctly. Thank you again.

I finally did get the photo posted. My persnickety files would not let me publish the one resting on a green net bag that it came in. I guess green is out this year or something.

I think we also have the similar thing here. It seems it can be the butterfly here.

Yes, I have heard several stories that involved a butterfly.

what a most thoughtful gift. i'd jest a small token when my dad passed, a deer 'n fawn that didn't venture off when we went to spread his ashes.

Oh, thanks. It is happening more often these days. We just lost a young woman that I know. Someone found her in her apartment. I have no other information on that. It is a big shock.

I have a Zuni silver ring with three turquoise stones in it that belonged to my mother. My brother didn't want it, so it came to me. Now I wear it all of the time.
