When I was over at Larry's (my landlord) I seen this little kitten playing and it came right up to me and started loving up on me. I played for a minute and walked home. It was such a nice day out that PJ and I was standing outside and here came that kitten. So I picked it up and brought her inside to see how she would act. Then yesterday over at Larry's..Shelly of all people asked me if I saw this kitten and she told me what it looked like saying it was her grandbabies. So I came home and got the kitten and gave it to her. I don't know if she was telling the truth but what kinda person would that make me if I kept that kitten away from her grandbabies.

You're right to question it. Some people can do horrible things to animals, but I don't think that someone would go looking for a cat that isn't theirs to harm it. And if the kitten wasn't afraid of humans, then there is a good chance that the kitten did have a home before.

One of the reasons I questioned it was because this girl has a very bad history of not telling people the truth and she gets away with a bunch of stuff.

In the army, I managed to make scarred kittens friendly. I gave them some clabber (a kind of yoghurt) and just left the clabber near me, I just sat near it. They developed some courage and after a while, they ate it in turns. After a couple of tries, they didn't get scared. They finally could play with me.

I hope she wasn't lying. That would be a horrible lie, to say that it was her grandchild's when it wasn't. You don't think she saw you take it inside, do you?

@hillhjill Ah okay. Well, I would be more likely to believe that the kitten really did belong to her grandbaby. Unless he had prior knowledge that you had the kitten...

@ScribbledAdNauseum I would very much like to believe that it did be long to her grandbaby.

No she didn't see me because she wasn't even here on the property when I brought the kitten inside. And yes that would be a terrible lie to tell..but she's good at that.

How did the kitten behave ? Did it yawn for food, or cuddle ? Did it climb upon you ? Did it catch a rat maybe? What fur and what colour ?

@hillhjill It is common for white cats to be unable to hear...was the cat hearing when you called it "psss, psss..." ?

No rat catching, but all of the above. It was off white color.

@MommyOfEli2013 she was and today I went into the garage where she stays and the kitten was in there, so I don't understand why it's not at her grandbabies house if it is their cat. I hope one day you get to have a pet.
