1954 - Texas Instruments announces the first transistor radio. Remember those?
1952 - Chuck Lorre was born. He is an American director, producer and screenwriter. He is called the King of Sitcoms. He has created and produced Grace Under Fire, Cybill, Dharma & Greg, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly, Mom, Young Sheldon and the Kominsky Method. He won his first Golden Globe for The Kominsky Method. He also was Executive Producer on Roseanne.
1960 - Jean-Claude Van Damme - He is a Belgian retired martial artist, actor, producer and screenwriter. Some of his movies: Bloodsport, Cyborg, Kickboxer, Lionheart, Death Warrant, Timecop, Sudden Death, Maximum Risk and Lukas.
