If your going to put someone in jail, make sure they didn't design the psychological evaluation

So as not to make this a long discussion I will cut to the chase.
Timothy Leary was being imprisoned for previous offenses in regards to Marijuana possession. He was also a psychologist that had designed some of the tests that were used in the prison system across the US. He was given one of the tests he had designed himself and answered it in such a way that put him at low risk / in low security detention.
He then succeeded in breaking out of prison. How? Climbing a telephone pole to get over the prison wall and hitching a prearranged ride.

I'm not quite sure if they realized they were giving a test to the man who created it or not. At the very least they knew he was a psychologist. One would assume he would be able to manipulate any test like that. Atleast the offense was not more heinous.

@ScribbledAdNauseum If they knew he was a psychologist, they should have known that he was capable to manipulate any test.

@LadyDuck I agree. I am not sure if they actually knew or not but I do not see how they wouldn't know.

That's scary though because he could tell other people how to fake the tests too.

I don't think that was his intent at all. He just wanted to get out of there and flee the country.
