Office Chocolate Day National Day on Writing 1803 - The United States Senate ratifies the Louisiana Purchase. 1973 - The Sydney Opera House is opened after 14 years of construction. 1971 - Snoop Dogg was born. He is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, media personality, entrepreneur and actor. He was discovered in 1992 by Dr. Dre. Some of his songs: What's My Name?, Gin & Juice and Snoop's Upside Ya Head. He also has appeared in many movies, TV shows and as a character in several video games. 1979 - John Krasinski was born. He is an American actor, director and producer. He is known for his role as Jim Halpert in The Office (see below). He was in The Office for 9 seasons and produced and occasionally directed some episodes. Some of his movies: License to Wed, Leatherheads, It's Complicated, Something Borrowed, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
