A farmer family of three is looking up the sky, watching a glistening, dazzling, sparkling lights left and scattered by a mystic dragonfly. The mural artist conceptualized this to remind the people of the pyrotechnics or fireworks that open the week-long festivities of La Carlota Pasalamat. The opening rites are held in the festival part with jampacked of people in all walks of life. They're preceded by an offering rites as a form of thanksgivings among the Mangkas, the legendary name of our city, La Carlota.
