The Backstreet Boys are an American vocal group formed with 5 members in 1993. They rose to fame with their debut album "Backstreet Boys" in 1996, followed by "Backstreet's Back" in 1997. Their album "Millennium" brought them superstardom in 1999 along with "Black & Blue" in 2000. After a 2-year hiatus, the comback album "Never Gone" was released in 2005. After the "Never Gone Tour" in 2006, Kevin Richardson left the group to pursue other interests; and the group continued on as a quartet.
They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling boy band of all time. They are also the first boy band to top the U.S. charts in three different decades.

They also released The Hits: Chapter One in 2001, Unbreakable in 2007, This Is Us in 2009, In A World Like This in 2013 and DNA in 2019. I have all their albums. They are one of my fave bands. I was at their concert recently and it was amazing. Hubby said it was way too loud. Too many screaming girls.

I hate loud concerts. When we saw the Beatles we were lucky. We were in the top row up near the ceiling speakers and could hear all the music over the screaming.

@LindaOHio I think hubby wished he was not at that concert with me.
I don't blame him if he did but only because it was so loud.

@lovebuglena I remember when we went to the Robert Palmer concert eons ago. We were right under the speakers. I had to stuff Kleenex in my ears or my hearing would have been lost. It was deafening.

I love the Backstreet Boys! They were my favorite group as a kid and I still love them. I share the same birthday as Kevin. Not the year obviously lol, but the date. :)
