She is an American judge, television host and author. 1965-1982 she was an attorney, 1982-1996 she was a judge; and from 1996 to the present she has starred in her own courtroom show "Judge Judy". 9-10 million viewers tune in each day to this 4-time Daytime Emmy award-winning courtroom show series. Sheindlin works approximately 52 days a year and is said to be worth $500 million. 1956 - Carrie Fisher was born. She was an American actress, comedian and author. She is best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films.
