Making muffins...

I had bought some buttermilk for a muffin recipe, but I think I was too late in using it, as it didn't look like I thought it should when I poured it -- not that I'm an expert on buttermilk, but...
Anyway, I had the "Bee in my bonnet" so I just made the muffin recipe with regular milk, since I had plenty of it and none of it looked "funky". Next time I use the buttermilk in the recipe, I'll have to use it right away.
I doubled the recipe, but it still didn't make as many as I thought it would. I've eaten one, and it didn't taste too bad.
Once they cool off, I'll put a bunch in a container and take them to church on Wednesday night.
When I looked out the kitchen window, I saw that the thermometer said it was either 100° Or very close. I found myself thanking Dad for insulating this house so well, 'cause I never felt overly hot.
Wow. I just saw that it was four o clock, so I need to go feed Angel, go put the garbage cans out for tomorrow, and get the mail.
I hope that you have been getting everything done that you wanted to today/this afternoon/evening in your part of myLot land !

Oh, boy. Well, thank you--I'll try to remember that for next time. I thought that this one looked kind of chunky as it was coming out--but maybe it was me? I'll have to try it again.

I have never made muffins with buttermilk. My recipe asks for regular milk.
