When life's priorities and our expectations need to change but our mind is not willing!

Life does not remains the same always. Trends change. Our needs as well as surrounding conditions change. Yet since last few months, some of the surrounding conditions have been changing so drastically. I know that my priorities and expectations ought to change. But somehow I am unable to accept. And I am unwilling or rather unable to forego some thoughts or some of the routines. I know that I need to forego some of the expectations from others. Yet I am perhaps in a dilemma. May be I would slowly accept the change. Yet I thought of sharing my thoughts here as keeping things bottled up inside does not helps. What do you say?

Certainly making changes can be difficult. The 'old' ways are usually more comfortable simply because we are more used to them.

Oh it is so very tough to achieve your goals today for me anyway. I just keep trying and do not give up and pray to God.

Many are resistant to change, but after accepting it, it becomes the new normal.

That's alarming when you said the surroundings are drastically changing. What do you mean by that?

@Nakitakona well some of the conditions and behavior of people. At times it causes frustration and sadness. But I am now trying to time down my expectations.

Yeah it is indeed a tough dilemma when it comes to categorizing priorities. But I think it's good to have a transitional stage where you gradually adapt to the new changes so that you won't be overwhelmed with everything happening all at once.

@cahaya1983 Yes gradual change is the best. But at times we do not get time for certain things.
