Song of the Day... Is This Weird? / myLot

Every morning I wake up with a song in my head. Not a day goes by where there isn't a song playing in my head when I wake up. Whether it's something I heard recently or not. Today I woke up to "Down by the Lazy River" by the Osmonds playing in my head. I have not heard that song recently at all. Not sure whether Donny sang it at the concert but that was two weeks ago. This morning it was a Barry Manilow song I haven't heard in a long time (unless there's tv commercial with that song). It was "Can't Smile Without You". How do you wake up with a song in your head that you haven't heard in forever?

I don't think it has always been the case but I have noticed it over the last few months that I wake up every morning with a song in my head. Why is it happening now but didn't before?
