PT Means Physical Torture

The second round of physical therapy started today. It’s been increased to twice a week and involves some new torture. (I knew the massages were too good to last!)
There’s also some exercise equipment to use for my shoulders. And, oh, yes, medicine. It’s something called “Trivarion,” a patch with medicine in it that’s attached to the skin then hooked up to an electronic device.
Whatever....it worked! I was out of pain for most of the day!
The weird thing, however, is the other arm is the one doing the grabbing, popping, and hurting now.
As my therapist said, I’m weird. She knows me well.
Looks like I might get relief, but it takes a little longer when you’re older.
Takes a little longer? Sing it, Doug!

@FourWalls i have that sometimes. I apply hot compress to neutralize pains.

Arthritis and tendinitis ganged up on me. Probably the penalty for a repetitive motion injury 30 years ago.

I have had plenty of physical therapy in my time and it can be very painful. It sounds horrible. I wish my physical therapy could help my shoulder and then the other as well, but, it did not.
