Prepared For The Power Outage

Sonora, California
October 25, 2019 4:59pm CST
Went and purchased non perishable snacks, and drinks, as well as a couple of things we can Barbecue if the power goes out, right now I’m waiting for Little Miss to get here and then my friend, looks like I’m going to have a full house this weekend, but that’s okay, I’m looking forward to seeing everyone! Power is supposed to go out before ten tomorrow night, and honestly I am hoping it doesn’t because these outages are getting old. I did get reimbursed for the food I lost last time today, so ran to the store and stocked up on Non Perishables because they are saying up to five days, though for us likely 24 hours like last time, still I’m airing on the side of caution!

@Michellekidwell I don't understand how that's preventing fires?

@dfollin They do it when it’s windy and dry, but so far it really hasn’t been!

Hopefully, there isn't a power outage. Even if there is, praying that it would be a quick one and power will resume again.

I read about this but didn't read the reason. Why are they doing this?
