My friend Alejandra comes at least once a month to take the meds that Tania sometimes has free for her. As it has been known now worldwide, some of the problems most Chilean have is that the retirement pensions are next to nothing and they have to buy their meds at very expensive prices. My friend Alejandra has many problems. She has an incurable problem in her eyes an she is becoming blind. She ears some money giving literary workshops (she is a poet) and being part as a jury that give prizes for better books. She has to read the books and chooses. Some months ago I helped her and selected some books so that she did not have to read them all. I have been jury in several occasions so I know what to do. Now I will do the same. She cannot say no when that work is available. She needs the money to eat. Now she will come with a pile of books for me to read and decide which are the best. And I´ll give her the meds and a bag I bought in Aruba. I bought 6 then. One for Coral (she picked first), one for Leticia, another one for me. Yesterday I gave one to Carolina and will give another to Alejandra. It will come handy to go for groceries. She has a supermarket 3 blocks from her house. She is about to arrive. See you later.
