I have downloaded an app called All Trails to my cell phone which we use for just about any outdoor activity we do. We use it at the ATV park when we ride, at a couple of fo the other places that we ride the 4 wheeler, and now we have started using it for Canoe trips.
Where we were yesterday was somewhere where we have been a few times before, but we upgraded one of our marine batteries yesterday, so we wanted to see how far we could go. We ended up going about two miles further than we usually do. So this tracks the way out and the way back and gave us total travel time and some other info.
Super handy little app. If you hike, bike, ATV, boat or any of those outdoor activities, I would definitely recommend it.

I might recommend that to my son. He does outdoor activities from time to time.

Its a pretty litlte handy app. Its neat to see the trail at the end of the trip.

A friend of mine is in a jeep club and they do trails in Uwharrie National Park here and other places. She'd probably like something like this for that.

Yeah. I downloaded it when we were at the atv park one night and then decided to use it for other stuff.

Some of these apps are incredibly useful. It's amazing the information they come up with.
