A wonderful sauce with dry mushrrooms.

I used to make sauces for pasta with dry mushrooms. Then it wasn´t easy to get those beautiful fresh white champignon de Paris that are so easy to use.
As these fresh mushrooms are so easy to get, I had not used the dry ones for a long time. Some time ago I found them at the supermarket with the rest of the spices and bought some.
I then made the most exquisite sauce with no need of using meat. I froze part of it to see how it keeps and today I thawed it. It was wonderful!
I ate my lunch while I watched the news and now I will take a nap. see you later.

I first learned about dried mushrooms. Reading online, I discovered that they were wild mushrooms that were dried and sold. They grow in forests in my part of the earth. Then, much later, came the industry of fresh mushrooms. First came the small white ones and lately a lot of different delicious kinds.

@marguicha When I was a child you could never buy mushrooms in a shop. It was always just a seasonal thing, picking them in the paddocks after the first rains.

Me too. And they can add such a wonderful taste to dishes that don´t have meat.
