T-shirt sales is the main source of income for wrestlers in WWE. WWE will make t-shirts merch of the wrestlers so the wrestler's fans will buy it. WWE Wrestler Jordan Myles though demand his T-shirts to be pulled out because he got offended by the design WWE gave him.
His T-shirt merchandise looks like a the lips of a Black face, Black face are those racist cartoons White supremacists makes hundred years ago.
Myles got offended because not only this shirt looks inspired from Blackface, the red part is watermelon colored which is another racist stereotype against black people.
WWE is getting a lot of racist controversies the last few months. I hope AEW defeat them in ratings.

I think that is very wrong. Aren't the wrestlers popular? Cannot they sell T-shirts with their faces on them? People can choose their favorites.

It used to be like that, but for reasons that God only knows Vince has gotten really insecure over the years and only elevates wrestlers who's gimmicks he devised that catch on with the audience. Which might explain this lackluster design, as I doubt Myles is given time to shine...

I get Jordan Myles doesn't have anything like a special birth mark, tattoo to put on a shirt, but is this serious the best they could do? Last I checked Steve Austin, and The Rock got to pitch T-shirt ideas, why not give Myles the same courtesy?

They want complete control. Myles just quit WWE, they currently shoving Charlotte Flair as a top baby face while they turned all women of color heel. Now Naomi is healed, she is not the only WOC baby face.

@Hanyouyomi All Blonde women are faces now, except from Lana because her character is Russian and she is Venezuelan in real life. Bayley, Asuka and Kairi turned heel while being faces on a feud against Blonde heels. If you look at Fox news, they love Blondes and WWE is working with Fox. Fox is the same company that turned Goku white.

Yeah I've been meaning to ask about that... Why on Earth are all the WoC on Raw and SmackDown heels? It rubs me the wrong way really... I get Bayley being a heel, but they turned her heel against Charlotte which made me feel really nervous. Like has Vinnie Mac truly lost his mind?
But notice it's only the women... The guys are left alone. Reigns is still a babyface. New Day and Rey are babyfaces... Just why...?

But they are racist, Just ask majority of non white wrestlers not named the Rock who worked for them. They kept pushing Charlotte Flair as a babyface or hero even if people don't like her because she is white and blonde. Meanwhile people actually like Sasha,Bayley, Kairi and Asuka and they were all turned into villains ever since they move to Fox, A republican tv network.
Black wrestlers takes 10 to 12 years before they can win a championship while a white guy can win it within his 1st year.
Jordan Myles is also a dark skinned black wrestler whose gimmick is to smile a lot. So you can understand why he is offended.

They fired a Filipino wrestlers after hiring one because the owner thinks people will be confused if there is 2 of them. Yup their ratings is now being beaten by AEW, a rival company created by former employees who got sick of the abuse WWE gave them.

They did tell him that the font of his name is inspired from lips and teeth because he smiles a lot. The t-shirt should have not been black. It should have been green or purple.

What I have seen of the AEW company, it appears that the days of Vince McMahon's days of being the top executive in the W W E are numbered.
Racial stereotypes in the W W E are starting to come back to haunt them since wrestling fans want to see great wrestlers regardless of skin color or race.

AEW just defeated Smackdown in ratings. WWE is in a panic that they don't allow audiences that wears AEW tshirts to watch wwe shows. WWE never did that to TNA and Ring of Honor fans/
