This sort of power ballad was one of Pat’s biggest hits at Billboard #10. “Invincible” was written by Simon Climie and Holly Knight for “The Legend of Billie Jean” soundtrack. Three time Grammy winner Knight also wrote Pat’s “Love is a Battlefield” plus “Obsession” (Animotion), “Rag Doll” (Aerosmith) and “The Warrior” (Patty Smythe and Scandal).
I saw “The Legend of Billie Jean” when it was originally released. The movie stars Helen Slater (“Supergirl”) and Christian Slater (no relation) in his screen debut. Story concerns a Texas sister and brother accused of a shooting and on the run from the law becoming folk heroes in the process. Pat labeled it a really bad movie which is not true.
“Invincible” also appears the album “Seven the Hard Way.”

This still gets regular airplay here in Denver. On more than one station, too!

Don’t remember that one. Funny how people involved in a project look it at it differently than others, isn’t it.
PS — wonder how many people went to see the movie, thinking it was about the Michael Jackson song....

I remember this one. I guess Pat is kind of semi retired now.
