This sort of power ballad was one of Pat’s biggest hits at Billboard #10. “Invincible” was written by Simon Climie and Holly Knight for “The Legend of Billie Jean” soundtrack. Three time Grammy winner Knight also wrote Pat’s “Love is a Battlefield” plus “Obsession” (Animotion), “Rag Doll” (Aerosmith) and “The Warrior” (Patty Smythe and Scandal). I saw “The Legend of Billie Jean” when it was originally released. The movie stars Helen Slater (“Supergirl”) and Christian Slater (no relation) in his screen debut. Story concerns a Texas sister and brother accused of a shooting and on the run from the law becoming folk heroes in the process. Pat labeled it a really bad movie which is not true. “Invincible” also appears the album “Seven the Hard Way.”
