Leticia could not come. Halloween, protests and weekend.

Leticia could not come to work today either. There were no buses where she lives. I don´t really know how long this will go on and how it will end. At dusk, the people who have legitime needs stop protesting and go to their houses. And the streets are taken by vandals. Many people who have more means put together 2 kinds of people and do not realize that a protest of over one million people in only Santiago is not a terrorist attack and that the mass we saw in the streets on Friday did not even know much about politics. They only know that they cannot live with the money they earn. It seems that I could have a Halloween in the Andes where my best friends have their mountain house. Dixie just called me and told me that Humberto wanted to get away from it all during the long weekend. And they invited me. It is not sure though, because it all depends on the way the highways are then. If so, this witch will not play trick or treat but will take a bottle of Jack Daniels to share
