Not Your Typical 9-5 / myLot

I don't have a typical 9-5 job and for some reason that leads people to believe that while my husband works a full time job and busts his butt for us, I do nothing. People couldn't be any more wrong. My job is keeping the house. I have a cleaning routine that, yes has been altered lately due to circumstances, keeps everything clean and orderly. I also work online for about 8 hours a day. Sometimes longer depending on how the day goes. I work on multiple sites and am lucky to cash out about once a month. It doesn't make much but it does help. With the money earned in my paypal, we were able to go to readers on the river this year and I was able to pre-order most of the books signed. So no, I don't have a typical 9-5 job but I work my butt off as well. *picture from my computer/facebook*

Some people only believe what they see on the surface. There is much going on behind the scenes with me also.

It's true. It's like they only see what they want. Then if you talk or complain about something, you're being whiny or needy. People are just weird now lol

As long as what you are doing works for you and your husband and make you happy who cares what others think.

That´s really good you can earn like that and keeping a house clean and all the rest is a job in itself my kids think that I don´t do anything either that they are the only ones that work never mind.

Apparently it's because I don't have kids that they see what I do as nothing I guess. I've actually had to defend why I don't work. It's so weird how people judge others based on what they don't know

@JordanLader Whether you have children or not its still the same to me housework can be the most unrewarding job out. I so missed having to give up my jobs because I had to look after my youngest and was always in the Doctors with him. I can know how you feel having to defend what you do its still a job being online like that and I am glad you can earn from it also.
